Dabei erh\u00e4lt der Sch\u00fcler Einsicht in die industrielle Technik und seine F\u00e4higkeiten zu technischen \u00dcberlegungen werden entfaltet.<br \/>\nDas Sachgebiet ist breit gef\u00e4chert: Es \u00fcberschneidet sich oftmals mit dem Elektromaschinenbau, der Elektronik, der Informationstechnik sowie der elektrischen Steuerungstechnik, der Feinmechanik und dem Maschinenbau.<br \/>\nDer Sch\u00fcler lernt die verschiedenen Werkstoffe der Metallindustrie, der Elektrotechnik sowie deren Verarbeitungsm\u00f6glichkeiten kennen. Bei den praktischen Arbeiten wird die Theorie einerseits umgesetzt, andererseits werden aber auch zus\u00e4tzliche Erfahrungen f\u00fcr den theoretischen Unterricht gesammelt.<br \/>\nVorausgesetzt wird hier vor allem eine gute mathematische und naturwissenschaftliche Begabung. Dazu sind technologisches Wissen und das Interesse f\u00fcr den Umgang mit moderner Technik von Vorteil.
